Dusty Corner of the Capital is a community-funded art installation. Every dollar goes directly into creating a Roman piazza in the Black Rock Desert: building the façade and the cobblestones and improving the trattoria.
This is a volunteer-driven project by La Famiglia, built entirely through the generosity of people who believe in art, hospitality, and shared spaces. No sponsors, no corporations. Just people who believe in the vision.

La Famiglia will come to you. Wherever you are in California or the Reno area, on a date to be arranged together, the hosts of Dusty Trattoria will arrive with their portable propane-fired pizza oven, their flour-dusted hands, and everything needed to make up to 30 authentic Italian pizzas, straight from the fire to your table. All you need is an outdoor space and an appetite.

Mecenate delle Arti
History remembers its patrons.
One of the statues crowning the installation will bear your likeness. Placed atop the balcony at the highest point of the palazzo, it will overlook the piazza from the place of honor — watching the city you helped bring to life.

What Your Support Funds
Materials, fabrication, transportation to Black Rock City, and the tools to build a two-story climbable wooden façade that disappears without a trace when Burning Man ends.
